Gazprom to invest 173 bln rbl in Yamalo-Nenets district projs 2018

MOSCOW, Jul 13 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom plans to invest 172.9 billion rubles in its projects in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District in 2018, the company said in a statement late on Thursday.

The Gazprom group of companies produces about 90% of its natural gas from the fields of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, including the Bovanenkovskoye, Zapolyarnoye, Yamburgskoye fields and the Achimov deposits of the Urengoiskoye field. In 2013–2017, the company spent 884.7 billion rubles on development of the region’s fields and on their infrastructure, the company said.

Gazprom also plans to launch development of the Kharasaveyskoye field in the region in 2019. The field’s reserves stand at 2 trillion cubic meters of natural gas under the C1 and C2 categories. Gazprom expects to start production of gas at the field in 2032, and sees the projected production capacity at 32 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
